Locking a track is done to make the track exclusively viewable for subscribers and one time purchasers only. This is how artists can make money on Ryddm. Locking a track is done during the upload phase, while locking a post is done in the app.
Locking a Track:
- From an artist Profile>Add Tracks> copy link and paste in browser OR open link that was emailed to you > upload, add your track's information and coverart, then click "For subscribers"
Note: For subscribers option will only be available if you have set up Monetization in the Ryddm app by setting up Stripe. See our guide to get started.
Locking a Post: A post can be created from the Home Feed screen. Click the Plus (+) icon to put a new post up. After loading your image, video, or text, you can click the "Lock" icon in order to make this available to subscribers or one time purchasers only.
